The newly opened International Convention Centre Sydney (ICC Sydney) is now Asia Pacific’s premier business and cultural events precinct, showcasing Sydney to the world through its convention, exhibition and entertainment venues.


We are currently looking to recruit a world-class Assistant to play a vital role in supporting the Director of Corporate Affairs and Communication. This administration-focused role is a unique opportunity to play a part in building the brand of Australia’s newest business and entertainment events precinct.


Responsibilities;

  • All administrative duties within the Communications department as well as being the Assistant to Director of Communications.
  • Provide administrative assistance and support to the ICC Sydney Office, Senior Management and AEG Ogden Directors where requested by the Director of Corporate Affairs and Communication.
  • Provide a warm, friendly and welcoming nature as the first point of contact in the Communications team.
  • Assist the Director of Corporate Affairs and Communication with key initiatives.
  • Diary management, preparation of business letters, reports and emails, plus the creation & distribution of monthly media and activity reports
  • Administration of the team’s purchasing requirements
  • Assist with the development and implementation of new innovations, improvements to processes, and improvements or upgrades to existing ICC Sydney products and services.
  • Ensure the broader business utilise the company branding within the guidelines.

The successful candidate will be highly organised and excel in task and time management. They will bring extensive administration experience, ideally with a marketing, public relations or communications focus. The ability to deliver quality administrative outputs and support the team in a fast-paced environment is required.
