We currently have a new opportunity for an experienced Project Support Officer to assist the Project Managers in undertaking their financial activities, in accordance with RCR policies and procedures.

Reporting to the Project Support Coordinator, you will be a part of a close-knit administration team. This fast-paced and demanding role requires a mature approach with a can-do attitude, effective communication skills and the ability to work in partnership with all seniority levels.

The role is a three months fixed term contract with a view to become long-term. The role is office based with 8am - 4pm working hours.

DUTIES

  • Administrative support for RCR Project Managers and site personnel to ensure project objectives are met.
  • Preparation and overall management of purchase orders, including plant, materials and associated services.
  • Weekly and monthly project reporting.
  • Entry of cost and time transactions, ensuring that data is captured correctly (timesheets, goods and service receipts, expense claims etc.).
  • Reconciliation of invoices received against daily dockets and timesheets.
  • Coordination of travel, including flights, accommodation, vehicles and mobilisations for project teams.
  • A variety of additional administrative tasks

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

  • A strong working knowledge of the SAP purchase to pay process is essential.
  • Experience in purchasing or site/ project administration, preferably in large engineering & construction company.
  • An understanding of payroll processes is desirable.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite of products - Excel, Word, Outlook.
  • Well-developed organisational & time management skills.
  • Customer focus to act as advisor and problem solver.
  • High attention to detail is critical for this role.
