THE ROLE

Based on the Sunshine Coast, the duel in house role is to expand our business to both new and existing customers, whilst developing close customer relationships with some project administration with our current projects team. An exciting opportunity with this expanding business awaits the right candidate. This is a dynamic and friendly environment that will suit an energetic and strategic thinker with clear vision and solid networking and communication skills. 

Role is a 6 month contract with a Full time opportunity for the right person.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Reporting to Management you will work as a trusted and integral team member responsible for new business opportunities, servicing existing clients and establishing new relationships/opportunities whilst assisting and project administrating occasionally in conjunction with our current projects team.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and maintaining new and existing customers
  • Showing the passion to drive the business forward
  • Tender writing completion and submissions of documentation.
  • Maintaining an accurate and ongoing sales pipeline
  • Strategic brainstorming and implementation of new business development initiatives
  • Ability to take ownership and offer solutions of day to day project issues
  • Ability to communicate well and work closely with external suppliers and clients.
  • Excellent time management skills to carry out work across multiple concurrent projects, with superior attention to detail, in a semi-autonomous role.
  • Ability to work in a small team environment.
  • Strong document control skills.
  • Assist with development of project drawings and coordinate the design review
  • Provide assistance to the Project Team in ensuring that defined project deliverables and project schedules are updated and on track.

THE CANDIDATE

  • Used to working in an autonomous role, you should be self-motivated and very task orientated
  • Must be able to work well under preassure
  • Must be well-presented, and results driven with the ability to quickly adapt to change
  • Previous experience selling in commercial construction industries is an advantage
  • Previous projects administration/document control experience a must
  • Ideally have an understanding of the construction industry and/or market for liquid storage solutions
  • Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
  • The ability to communicate across all levels of the organisation
