We are an education and migration consulting company seeking a full time a customer services Officer/ Education Counsellor based with a can do attitude. The company is base in City centre and the hours of work would be from 09:30 AM to 17:30 PM Monday through Friday. Previous candidates do not apply.

 

Position Description

 

  • Deals with student general enquiries regarding the international student applications for English course, High School, TAFE and Universities
  • Provides administrative support to the office manager. Provide administrative support to our education and migration agent
  • Provide Education consulting services to client
  • Assist with website/Facebook/Twitter/Weibo updating
  • Assist with phone/email enquiries
  • Assist with translation from both English to mandarin and mandarin to English
  • Assist with marketing activities (organizing open days, education and migration seminars etc)
  • Some reception duties might be involved occasionally 

Mandatory Requirements

  • Sound knowledge of Australian Educational Systems
  • Sound knowledge of international student application procedures Sound knowledge of Australian visa
  • Must have excellent oral and written English and Mandarin
  • 1 -2 years Customer Services experience preferable in education industry
  • Good communication and presentation skills
  • Good organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to prioritize task
  • IT skills is essential: Advanced in MS word, spreadsheet and outlook
  • Fast in data entry
  • Self motivation and initiative
  • Attention to details
  • Can do attitude Desirable experience

The following desirable experience would be an advantage:

  • Fluent in a second language such as Mandarin, Cantonese, Vietnamese or Spanish would be an advantage
  • IELTS score 6.5 or more is desirable
  • 1-2 years work experience in Education counselling or migration industry
  • Experience of dealing with international students
  • Event management experience
  • 3 years studying experience in Australia is preferable
