Davenports is a small accounting firm based in Hawthorn East that is looking for a Receptionist / Admin Assistant to join our team on a part time basis of approximately 20 hours per week over a minimum of 4 days.
About the role:
- Answering incoming calls, processing of incoming and outgoing mail and filing.
- Administration support including checking of ATO correspondence, collation of tax returns, invoicing, maintaining workflow register, Booking appointments, lodging of returns with ATO, registering clients for TFN’s, ABN’s and GST, liasing with the ATO regarding client penalties and payment plans and support to Partners
- Willing and able to work autonomously
- Ability to multitask and prioritise work under pressure
- Ensure the office is presentable at all times by maintaining tidiness in all public spaces of the office
- Start mid July
What you need:
- At least 1 year experience in a similar role
- Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
- MYOB Accountants Office experience would be a bonus
- Well presented
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Clear communication skills both written and verbal
