About the role

The Office Manager represents the ‘face’ of Greening Australia in WA and is responsible for a wide range of responsibilities and relationships. The core responsibilities of the role revolve around working collaboratively with the local and national team.  

The Office Manager role is essential in supporting the operational, administrative and employee requirements to deliver a cohesive and effective workplace.

This role is a 12 month fixed term maternity leave placement. However, there is opportunity for a flexible candidate to continue and job share the role permanently.

Key Position Accountabilities

Key areas of accountability and outcomes include:

  1. Central point of contact for organisational/administrative information and delivery.
  2. Provide administrative support the Regional General Manager, State Manager and Business Unit Leaders.
  3. Local IT champion and member of national network.
  4. Contribute regular communications from WA for the Greening Australia website, newsletter and social media.
  5. Assist with the preparation and submission of tenders and proposals.
  6. Coordinate staff recruitment and inductions as necessary.
  7. Member and administrator of WHS Committee.
  8. Assist with the management of internal and external events. 
  9. Manage volunteering enquiries and organise funded events.
  10. Vehicle fleet management support.

Key Selection Criteria

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in a relevant field;
  • Demonstrated ability in Office Management; 
  • Excellent computer skills;
  • Well-developed written and interpersonal skills;
  • Able to work autonomously; and
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and nurture positive working relationships.
