Our client is building their team and looking for a special someone to assist with the general coordination of tasks.
To be successful for this role, you will need (but not limited to) the following:
- Ability to work autonomously in Coordinating project activities (including documentation)
- Can be meticulous in the management and prioritization of tasks
- Ability to work with a variety of stakeholders (across varied projects)
- Can produce status reports to support Project Managers
- Ability to manage and coordinate project communications within IT and rest of the organization
- Can independently draft project related communications for distribution within the IT team and the rest of the organization
- Can be the face of IT communications and manage both incoming queries as well as fielding outgoing responses
- Poses an advanced knowledge of usage of Sharepoint or ability to store, maintain and disseminate project documentation
- Sound understanding of version control of documentation and archival of documents that are deemed as not active and not necessary
- Ability to coordinate meetings and take minutes, follow up on actions to closure
- Can use tools such as (e.g Teem, Outlook etc) to, book and manage meetings
- Knowledge and use of tools (e.g One note) to take minutes, actions, distribute to relevant parties, and ensuring that action items are followed to closure
- Ability to raise risks and issues as appropriate if project constraints (time, cost, scope) are challenged.
- Ability to use Project Portfolio Management tools such as MS Project, (such as Sciforma) to create Project Schedules and maintain them
- Ability to use financial management tools such as Basware and Concur to manage purchasing artefacts including (but not limited to) Purchase Orders, Invoices, Goods Receipts are created/managed in a timely manner
- Ability to write status reports independently/ with inputs from IT team on behalf of Projects, BAU activities as required
- At least 5 years of relevant experience in IT Project Coordination and/or Communications
- Outstanding communication and ‘people management’ skills
- Strong numeracy and financial management skills
- Ability to work to a high standard with minimal supervision
- Superior documentation skills
- Sound computer skills including advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office, Project Management tools (such as Sciforma or MS Project)
- Relevant Foundation level Project Management Qualifications (Certificate/Diploma) and/or experience (Prince 2, PMBOK or equivalent)
- Relevant IT or Business Qualifications ideally an undergraduate degree and/or experience
