We have an exciting opportunity for a professional Administrative Assistant who will support the General Manager of Strategy and Public Affairs. The position is permanent, full-time and is based in Sydney CBD.

About the role

The Administrative Assistant is a critical role that ensures the communications and operations of the General Manager Strategy and Public Affairs are managed with professionalism and efficiency.  This includes confidential support and day to day management of business as usual activities, special projects and collation of information for Board Committee’s reports.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • General administration and secretarial duties
  • Diary Management
  • Coordinating communication between various Stakeholders
  • Management of information and records
  • Expense reconciliation
  • Travel arrangement, interstate and overseas

What are we looking for?

The ideal candidate will have a high level of professional written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills.  You will have the ability to communicate information clearly, concisely through the most effective medium.  You will be highly organised, a seasoned multi-tasker with a sharp attentiveness for detail.  You will also demonstrate impeccable confidentiality and professionalism in the heat of multiple and competing requests from various stakeholders.

Minimum education/professional requirements include:

  • Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office skills in Outlook, Word, Excel ad Powerpoint
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar or administrative role
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Able to manage time effectivley
  • Customer excellence
  • Flexible and adaptable to any given situation
