The position prefers the candidate to have previous experience within an Office Administration role & knowledge of how an accounting practice operates would be beneficial. You will be required to assist the office as a whole, including the 3 Partners and Business Services Manager. You will be working very closely with the accountants & bookkeepers in the office, so you will have continual guidance & knowledge growth within the role.

You will love to meet & greet clients ads they come into our office - this is one of our most important positions. You will be one of the first people our clients see as the arrive, so your attitude, appearance and all round friendly personality will be your priority.

You must have a happy personality, be a team player, have excellent communication skills, and be willing to go above and beyond for our practise and our clients.

Tasks that are essential for the role, but which you won't be limited to are:

Compilation of Financial Accounts & Taxation Returns

Compilation of Activity Statements

Correspondence with the ATO

Answering of incoming calls into the office, greeting clients ace to face

Making appointments on behalf of the partners

Lodgement of tax returns with the ATO

Processing of incoming & outgoing mail

Recording of client payments,

Reconciliation of Petty Cash

Scanning & electronic filing of documents

MYOB Accounting Software knowledge – not essential
