In this role the main responsibility is to provide a superior level of administrative support to all Claims Assessors and Business Partners, within the agreed turnaround times and in accordance with our business operating protocols.
You will also be validating Group Eligibility and calculating Sum Insured prior to Assessor allocation, and notifying the Trustee where eligibility fails. Carrying out assessment of Death and Terminal Illness claims. Requesting treating doctor’s reports as requested by claims assessors and attaching the supporting documentation. And carrying out the initial triage and allocation of new claims
Ideally you will have experience within a claims environment, however not essential; your written and verbal communication skills including the ability to make and respond to queries by phone will be second-to-none.
