Outstanding opportunity for a Business Coordinator to provide high quality executive support to senior management and coordinate change and business outcomes for a major health program.
The Business Coordinator will use their demonstrated coordination and planning skills to:
- Ensure effective coordination of activities across a Health Program resulting in the translation of strategy into business outcomes;
- Administer work improvement initiatives to improve administrative and executive support systems and practices;
- Manage travel and accommodation arrangements, catering, and other meeting logistics;
- Provide board administrative and executive support services;
- Anticipate and establish priorities, monitor and communicate progress to deliver required program outcomes;
- Communicate and move forward decisions that will have an impact on the day-to-day operation of the work area or contribute to the outcome of a program or major project for the agency;
- Liaise with internal stakeholders to ensure positive customer outcomes;
- Report on program objectives, program outcomes and work area performance for presentation to Executive; and,
- Other tasks as required.
To succeed in this diverse and pivotal role, the successful candidate will need to demonstrate:
- Proven experience in providing high quality executive support to senior management including secretariat support.
- Highly developed internal and external stakeholder engagement and negotiation skills, both written and verbal
- Proven experience managing board administrative and executive support services including travel, accommodation and other meeting logistics
- Ability to compile, analyse and respond to operational and logistical information and statistics
- Proven ability to prepare presentations and materials to communicate program objectives and outcomes
- Candidates must be Australian Citizens to be eligible to apply for the level of security clearance required for this role.
We are seeking a candidate available to start as soon as possible for a long-term daily rate contract ending April 2019.
