In this EA role, you will be providing administration support to the Director within the government.

Your new company
Your new company lies within a government organisation who's focus is on improving the communities in Victoria by implementing innovative systems and programs.

Your new role

  • You will provide high-level administrative and executive management support, with particular attention to confidentiality and sensitivity, to projects.
  • You will be a pivotal point of contact for key stakeholders from a diverse range of government and private sectors.
  • You will be required to manage and coordinate the activities of the Executive to provide effective support services including organisation of conferences, corporate events, meetings, catering and travel arrangements, office filing systems, reporting on financial matters, human resources, systems administration, accommodation, equipment and contribute as a team member with other administrative officers.
  • Providing a range of effective executive support functions, including: accurately managing the office’s events diary; providing quality support to committees, working groups and meetings; and preparing reports, briefs and correspondence on complex issues.
  • Helping out with projects where needed



What you'll need to succeed
You will possess a multitude of technical and personal attributes to be successful in this role.

  • Efficient planning and organising skills - you will be responsible for organising critical meetings.
  • 2+ years' experience as an Executive Assistant or similar role.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills - you will be preparing briefs, letters, emails and reports using clear, concise and grammatically correct language.
  • Advance computer skills - you will be using a wide range of software applications.
  • A self-starter who does not need to be micromanaged.
  • Impeccable attention to detail is a must.
  • Previous government experience is preferred.
