We are looking for an experienced Events Administrator and Receptionist to support our expanding event business which includes an extensive range of educational and corporate events for the education profession. You will need to have a great eye for detail and enjoy working as part of an energised team in a fast paced environment.
Your responsibilities will include:
- being the first point of contact for our office
- providing general PA support to Director of Professional Learning and General Manager
- sourcing and selecting venues, accommodation and services
- booking airfares and accommodation
- management of registrations through event software (training will be provided)
- all aspects of internal event administration
- management of event resources
- administration support for events.
To succeed in this position, you will:
- have experience in an administrative role supporting a busy team (highly desirable)
- be professionally presented with a strong commitment to service excellence
- be a quick learner with a high level of attention to detail
- have well-developed planning, organisational and time management skills along with the ability to prioritise and complete tasks within competing time frames
- have high level written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate with a variety of stakeholders
- have demonstrated competency in the use of modern office technology, including the MS Office Suite
- enjoy working as part of a team.
