What we do: Autism Spectrum Australia (Aspect) is Australia’s largest specialist autism provider, delivering services to people nationwide. Aspect provides a range of centre and community based services, focussing on education services, early intervention, skills development, community engagement, and self-directed options for people with autism and other disabilities.

About the role: In this varied & rewarding role,  you will assist with the implementation of the Individual Giving Program utilising direct marketing strategies & tactics across a variety of platforms. You will also be responsible for delivering outstanding customer service to develop & maintain relationships with supporters to fuel retention & income growth.

About you: We are looking for someone who is a people person & a creative thinker, ideally with experience in a similar role, but if you think you have relevant transferrable skills, we will certainly consider your application.

 You will need exceptional planning, project coordination & time management skills to meet multiple deadlines, together with strong written & verbal communication skills enabling you to deliver outstanding customer service.  Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with the implementation of the Individual Giving Program utilising direct marketing strategies to engage existing supporters & to acquire new supporters & income growth
  • Research & coordinate the development of creative content for campaigns & activities across direct mail, telemarketing, email, digital & social channels
  • Implement the supporter relationship management strategy to ensure all supporters receive a seamless & rewarding experience
  • Work closely with suppliers including agencies, consultants, designers, copywriters, printers & mail houses, as well as internal stakeholders
  • Assist with monitoring, reporting & analysis of campaigns to identify trends & opportunities
  • Undertake administrative duties & ensure accurate maintenance of database records
  • Provide excellent customer service

Skills, experience & qualifications:

  • 1-2 years’ experience in fundraising, direct marketing, marketing, communications or project coordination role
  • Excellent time management skills & the ability to multi-task
  • Exceptional written & verbal communication skills
  • Ability to effectively build & manage relationships with a wide range of stakeholders
  • Effective database & analytical skills
  • Proven ability to work as part of a team
  • Strong MS Office skills, particularly in Word, Excel & Outlook
  • Outstanding customer service skills

This position also requires a Police Check, which Aspect will arrange.
