Role Snapshot
The role assists the Senior Operations Manager in the preparation of documentation and statistical reports, resolution of stakeholder enquiries and requests, leadership of preparation for key audits, support for the responsible gaming program and risk framework, and administrative support for the broader Business Operations team.
How you will contribute
- Prepare documentation for use by senior executives including briefing notes, meeting presentations and reports.
- Develop statistical reports for monthly reports, committees and management meetings.
- Develop and standardise quality documentation including procedures, checklists, and training materials. Support a centralised repository of resource documentation.
- Ensure the capture of regulator contacts in a centralised register. Support users of the register.
- Lead resolution of internal and external stakeholder enquiries, audit information requests and ad hoc requests.
- Coordinate the processing of self-exclusion requests and take responsibility for multiple self-exclusion registers to maintain regulatory compliance.
- Lead and manage preparation for major audits (notably the World Lottery Association Security Standards and level 4 Responsible Play certifications). Coordinate the process of audit preparation, liaise with auditors and take responsibility for ensuring audit findings are addressed.
- Provide financial management support through the conduct of variance analyses and verification of expenditures.
- Support the preparation of Business Operations documentation including Service Level Agreements, Operational Plans, Disaster Recovery Plans, risk assessments and monthly management reports.
- Manage travel and catering bookings for the Business Operations team.
Our Ideal Person
- Tertiary qualifications in business, compliance or related disciplines, or relevant practical experience
- Preparation of documentation for senior executive level/government
- Data analysis and reporting
- Understand Quality management processes
- Compliance process and system administration experience
- Internal/external stakeholder engagement and management
- Working knowledge of audit processes
- Working knowledge of budget forecasting and analysis
- Gambling/entertainment experience highly desirable
- Experience in working in a highly regulated multi-jurisdictional environment
