Accountancy Insurance was established in 2003 to work exclusively with public practice accounting firms specialising in Audit Shield – a comprehensive tax audit insurance product which covers the professional fees incurred as a result of an official audit, enquiry, investigation or review instigated by the Australian Taxation Office (ATO) and other federal, state and territory based agencies.

At present we partner with more than 3,000 accounting firms throughout Australia, New Zealand and Canada providing Tax Audit Insurance, Professional Indemnity, Management Liability and Cyber Insurance.  Our success has been gained through the pillars of customer service, a thorough understanding of the industry which reflects our clients’ needs and supporting the accounting community via our alliances with major tax and accounting bodies. A position has recently opened up for a full time Office Administrator to join our Operations team. This entry level opportunity is based in South Brisbane reporting to the Operations Manager and supporting the Account Managers and the Operations Manager.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Running point on all phone calls
  • Assisting with the preparation of templates
  • Printing mail outs and collating/printing envelopes
  • Undertaking data manipulation and data amendments
  • Uploading data through a web based system
  • Preparing reports and summaries
  • Provide overall admin to local and remote offices

Key requirements include:

  • Very high attention to detail and excellent time management
  • Administrative experience (within an accounting or other professional services firm would be an advantage)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Advanced Microsoft Word and Excel skills
  • Willingness to learn/undergo training
  • Full time availability: Monday to Friday
  • Full rights to work in Australia
