ACOT Electrical specialises in high end commercial and residential electrical fit outs, and scheduled maintenance for large commercial and industrial clients.  Due to rapid expansion a new role has been created for a Customer Service Manager.  This role is about providing the customer with a quality and professional level of customer service from preparation and estimating of the quote to the invoicing stage.

This is a position that will grow with the business.  Industry specific training will be offered for the right person.

The Role:

Providing support to the Director, we are seeking an experienced Customer Service professional to liaise with our customers from the preparation of the quote to the invoicing stage.  Coordination of the field team is essential to ensure that the customers’ expectations are exceeded.  Accurate estimating and invoicing is required to ensure profitability targets are met.  Duties may include (but not limited to):

  • Day to day running of the office, no job too big or too small.
  • Liaise with customers, including preparation and estimation of quotes, scheduling of jobs, liaison with field staff.
  • Preparation of invoices and industry paperwork requirements to complete the job.
  • Scheduling and follow up of maintenance contracts.
  • Review of profitability of jobs and adjusting where required.
  • Accounts payable reconciliations and data entry.
  • Controlling the Accounts Receivable process, including new applications, credit management and chasing debts.
  • General administrative duties as required.

 

About you:

  • Your experience in a similar role is essential.
  • Ability to take ownership of the role with confidence and initiative.
  • Ability to read and understand electrical plans will be highly regarded.
  • Ability to work independently and with our team of electricians.
  • Experience in job management software is desirable.
  • Ability to be flexible and develop the role.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to implement new systems, processes and procedures for best practice.
  • A background in the electrical industry will be highly regarded.

This role is to start immediately.  We offer a negotiable salary based on skill and experience.
