We are seeking an experienced grants manager / program manager / project manager for an immediate opportunity commencing ASAP for a 2 month contract with a possible extension.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Development, review and negotiation of variations to contracts, programs, projects and services;
- Responses to inquiries and resolution of problems concerning contracts, programs, projects services provided and persons affected;
- Records associated with contracts, programs, projects and services provided;
- Work by contractors and reports on variations to work orders;
- Preparation and review of submissions and reports concerning the Department’s activities;
- Collection and analysis of data associated with projects undertaken and reporting on project outcomes.
- Provide advice regarding the Department’s program/grant management function and/or compliance and regulation function to the team leader;
- Undertake complex correspondence;
- Liaise and build rapport with internal and external clients and stakeholders, lead negotiations and promote strategic alliances;
SELECTION CRITERIA
- Demonstrated contemporary program/grant management experience and compliance and regulation management skills;
- Project management experience;
- Strategic, analytical, problem solving, corporate management and planning skills;
- Strong communication skills;
- Demonstrated leadership ability and skills in contributing to the management of programs, budgets and people;
- Ability to work within a team in a dynamic environment to meet deadlines, improve processes and achieve organisational goals.
- Knowledge of Australian Government policies and procedures.
