The Opportunity
Join our Legal, Governance & Regulatory Affairs Team on a 12-month fixed-term contract and provide high level and confidential support to our Group Executive Legal, Governance & Regulatory Affairs. As the Executive Assistant, you will be proactive in identifying opportunities & implementing solutions and will be the go-to person for the day-to-day administrative & secretarial support to ensure the effectiveness of the Group Executive’s daily activities. You will collaborate as part of a broader EA and PA community to ensure that Medibank’s senior leadership teams are setup for success.
This will include:
- Ensuring the Group Executive is appropriately briefed & prepared prior to internal & external meetings or conferences including preparing daily briefing packs, meeting packs and reading packs on a daily and weekly basis
- Proactive email, diary and calendar management, including negotiating and scheduling meetings
- Building effective relationships with senior stakeholders across the Medibank Group and liaising with the Board, Group Executive and Senior Managers
- Developing, updating and maintaining administrative systems and documentation
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have significant experience within an executive assistant role providing one-on-one support to senior management within a customer-focused environment. You maintain a high level of confidentiality and professionalism and can build and maintain positive and effective working relationships and influence where required.
Other requirements include:
- Advanced skills in the Microsoft Office Suite i.e. Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook email systems
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to manage a number of priorities concurrently
- Experience using SAP finance processing (desirable)
