This is a great long term contract and the chance to do some really meaningful work with this high profile and important NSW Government Health Institute based close to Central Sydney.
They require a Records Officer or an Archivist with experience of a records management system such as TRIM, HPRM or similar, to coordinate and oversee the day-to-day operational activities associated with the Institute’s records management system (HPRM).  This includes file access, file creation, records storage, archiving, retrieval and disposal of records.
The successful candidate will be on an initial 6 month contract to the end of December but this could be extended.
This role reports to the Records & Information Manager and involves:
  • Being the System Administrator and troubleshooting issues for the record keeping system
  • Coordinate and deliver ongoing training to staff in the use of HPRM, developing and updating training materials and help cards
  • Contributing to the management of operational issues including troubleshooting, conducting checks, and maintaining logs and reviews to ensure the optimisation and smooth operation of the system and programs
  • Review of the quality of the processes
  • Monitor and correct data attributes entered by system users to contribute to and improve data quality and integrity
 
Criteria for Selection:
  • Demonstrated knowledge of best practice records management principles
  • Certificate IV in Recordkeeping or willingness to obtain would be an advantage
  • Demonstrated experience as a record keeping Administrator, including the use of record keeping systems such as HPRM or TRIM
  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment and/or demonstrated experience in the preparation of training materials and facilitation in face-to-face group training as required, and one-on-one to support users.
  • Experience of generating and providing HPRM (or similar) system reports, including the maintenance and improvements to existing reports
