Nosh Hospitality and Forte Catering & Events deliver innovative and quality driven staffing and event /catering solutions to the Sydney marketplace . We are based in a trendy office in Broadway, a short walk from Central Railway Station.

This role requires a highly capable, self motivated person willing to acquire knowledge, experience and skills to progress to higher levels of duties

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with payroll, accounts payable and receivable and liaise with staff member, suppliers & clients to source accurate information
  • General administrative/ office duties as related to the day to day operations for the Group, such as ordering stock, inventory control, assisting with telephones, reception and face to face interaction with clients and staff
  • Accurate data entry and maintain accurate records and files incl setting up and maintaining customer accounts
  • Assist on communications within the department as required to meet company demands
  • Assist and support staff from other departments through general admin duties
  • Attend department meetings as required to report/discuss future requirements and actions to achieve those requirements
  • Matching invoices to purchase orders & creditors reconciliation
  • Handling petty cash and staff reimbursement claims.
  • Prepare bank deposits.

Key Requirements:

  • Experience with MYOB an advantage
  • Previous experience in a similar role (hospitality experience would be a plus!)
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft office is essential
  • Attention to details and accuracy
  • Strong planning & organisational skills
  • A sense of humour!
