We are now seeking an experienced Adviser Support Officer to support our Brisbane Office, where your ability to provide exceptional client service and administrative assistance will set you apart and ensure you are a valued member of our professional team. 

 

Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

  • Provide administrative support to Advisers to include drafting correspondence from pre-defined templates, scanning, faxing, binding and photocopying;
  • Prepare documentation and application forms for new Client Account Packs;
  • Check and collate completed account documentation for submission to Client Onboarding team, including AML requirements;
  • Submit and monitor the progress of new applications, rollovers and any requested changes/implementations, escalating any issues to Senior ASO or Adviser as required;
  • Maintain full and up to date File Notes in Client Management system (Xplan), ensuring all documentation is scanned and uploaded and that emails are saved appropriately;
  • Use Xplan Threads and monitor assigned Xplan Tasks to manage workflow and ensure compliance with Elston policies and procedures;
  • Incoming and outgoing mail processing;
  • Coordinating client and professional partner functions

 

The following experience and attributes will be highly regarded:

  • Proven track record in a client service role with a wealth management firm;
  • Able to anticipate the needs of clients and advisers and respond appropriately;
  • Good organiser, able to plan work to meet deadlines and achieve team outcomes;
  • Excellent personal presentation and professional telephone manner;
  • Effective written and oral communication skills;
  • Confident to work without supervision when required;
  • Experience in the banking and finance sector;
  • Experience with financial planning software, eg Xplan, COIN etc;
  • Good knowledge of Office products – Word, Excel & Outlook.
