Our Client is a busy Medical and Surgical clinic specializing in the treatment for a  wide range of skin diseases, skin cancer and melanoma. They strive to provide patient focused, world class dermatological care, education and research.

I am working with the client to procure a permanent full time Practice  Manager to join their team immediately. You will be part of a team of 10  to lead, manage and direct all the day to day administration activities of the clinic. You will strive to provide unparalleled patient care.

You will be a proven leader who has the ability to effectively manage all of the administration team as well as the wider surgical team including Doctors, nurses, clinical trials team, and the senior leadership team. 


THE ROLE:

This is a fast paced environment. You need to be able to work under pressure and be able to juggle multiple balls at one time. You need to be able to change direction and think on your feet while always having the patients care as the priority. 

  • Manage admin and clinic staff
  • Work closely with the clinical nursing team to drive positive outcomes for the clinic 
  • Delegate tasks to wider team and ensure these have been done
  • Complete Health fund checks and advise patients and ensure they understand of any out of pocket expenses
  • Monthly reporting such as private clinic activity, clinical stats
  • Answer phones, and help out on reception. 
  • Ensure accurate billings are processed
  • liaise with health funds.
  • Manage patient referrals,
  • manage monthly rosters.
  • Recruitment of new team members
  • Be the eyes and ears of the whole Clinic- making sure everything is in order and running smoothly
  • Respond to customer complaints/refunds
  • Respond to emails
  • Trouble shooting
  • Linking provider numbers to bank accounts

ABOUT YOU:

You need to be an experienced Practice Manager/ Clinical Leader
You are empathetic and patient-centric
Professional and emotionally mature
You can think on your feet and work in a fast paced environment. 
You will have experience working in a Hospital/Day surgery environment. 
Positive role model and can demonstrate leadership qualities
Experienced with ZEDMed and SimDay
Excellent stakeholder management skills.
Experience with Healthcare funds and Medicare. 
Budget management experience
