  • Junior position (1-2 years exp in an office environment)

This is a newly created role for the company. You will mostly be working with two people: the assistant accountant and finance manager. However, this role is NOT a purely accounts role. As it is in a relatively smaller officer (less than 18 people), you will be required to be flexible across a number of admin roles and responsibilities. For example, if the receptionist is away, you will be needed to do some receptionist duties. At times you may step even into a PA role - assisting the team in organising their planners and booking trips.

This role will start off as a temporary assignment (this means you are casual), and after working for an allotted time (3-6 months), if your performance is good you will be transitioned into a permanent staff member.

Client Details

My client is a leading provider of energy control solutions for Prime Mover Controls, Power Management and Solar Power Protection Systems. You will be working in an office that is attached to a warehouse.

Description

  • Pick up inbound phone calls.
  • Process invoices (accounts payable).
  • Process incoming payments and new account applications (accounts receivable).
  • Follow up with clients to chase up slow payments (via phone call/email).
  • Assist with quotes for customers.
  • Data entry.
  • General filing duties.

Profile

  • At least 1 year experience in an office environment (as a receptionist, administrator, accounts payable etc.)
  • HSC completed (minimum)
  • Good at typing
  • Attention to detail
  • Good with numbers (this will be supporting the accounts team after all)
  • Comfortable working in a team environment
  • You MUST be either an Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident to apply for this role (student visa, working holiday visa etc. will not be accepted)

Job Offer

$25.00 - $27.50 per hour, Mon-Fri 8:00AM - 4:00PM. This pay range is determined by your previous experience.

This role will start in early August. The recruitment process will be:

  2. Phone call w/ recruiter - if successful you will be book in for a face to face interview in Parramatta
  3. Face to Face Interview w/ recruiter
  4. Face to Face Interview w/ Finance Manager
  5. Offer to start (in early Aug)
