We have an exciting opportunity for a Jewellery Merchandise Assistant to join our team Merchandise team based at our office in Summer Hill. You will be working closely with the Category Manager. Your primary focus will be to provide administrative support to our Category Managers and Merchandise Assistants to ensure excellence in the administration of stock orders and deliveries.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing general administrative assistance to Category Managers and Merchandise Assistants as needed.
  • Responding to queries, requests and repairs from stores, vendors and customers in a timely manner, and escalating any issues when required.
  • Completing weekly costing sheets in conjunction with Category managers for approval.
  • Creating, maintaining and tracking orders.
  • Delivering excellent customer service to internal and external customers, including suppliers.
  • Spreadsheet creation and maintenance for marketing promotions

To succeed in this role, you will have:

  • At least 12 months' experience in an administrative support role.
  • Intermediate computer skills, particularly in Microsoft Office (including excel) and Outlook.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Have positive attitude, be self-motivated, and with the proven ability to work autonomously.
  • Superior organisational and time-management skills.
  • High level of professionalism and attention to detail.
  • General knowledge of the retail industry is a must.
