The role

Here at Pure, we are on the lookout for candidates with customer service experience and a can-do attitude wanting to work in a fast-paced and rewarding environment. Ultimately, we are seeking those who are hardworking, energetic and self-driven to join our team and offer sales support to key stakeholders.  

We currently have two full-time opportunities for performance driven, customer service experts to facilitate the timely and accurate administration associated with the sale of all company products across the Pure Wine Co customer base. This role will require the successful candidate to help our reps maintain strong relationships with existing customers and not be afraid to source new ones as well!

This role will be responsible for processing customer account orders, queries and payments and will act as the communication conduit between our customers and our business partners, suppliers and service providers. This entry level role would suit an individual that has a background in customer service and/or administration, that is wanting to progress into a sales role and in particular; wine sales.

Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Act as the first point of contact for the main phone line, directing calls, taking referring messages in a timely manner and dealing with queries where possible to completion.
  • Maintain outbound customer territory and customer records.
  • Cold calling regional customers with quarterly offers to generate new sales.
  • Update daily and weekly sales reports.
  • Promptly raise invoices to relevant debtor accounts to enable the timely payment of accounts in conjunction with other Sales Support team members.
  • Promptly raise credit notes when required.
  • Place orders with relevant warehouses in the absence of Reps to ensure adequate backup is maintained for the sales team.
  • Receive, file and process invoices, remittances and transaction reports for all debtors.
  • Stock on hand communication to relevant national sales team members.
  • Assisting sales support with trade event information.

To be considered for the role, key requirements include:

  • Previous experience in a similar or transferable role.
  • Demonstrated experience in a sales environment.
  • Demonstrated customer service history.
  • Advanced Microsoft Office experience.
  • Industry exposure. 
  • Current driver’s license.
  • Business tertiary qualifications (desirable).
  • Previous experience in AP/AR (desirable).
