NEPEAN Building and Infrastructure – Weldlok® manufactures metal products for the architectural, civil, construction, industrial and mining industries including steel grating, balltube handrails and drainage. We are located in Yagoona (close to Bankstown NSW).
About the role
You will have the ability to learn our Pronto system where you will input data to create quotations and orders, be a team player who is willing to ask questions, challenge the status quo to enhance our productivity, efficiency and service offerings.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing customer enquiries over the phone, via email and face to face
- Data entry
- Respond to customer queries related to their orders
- Providing technical advice
- Taking quotes and order processing
- Follow Up on existing quotes and customers
- Liaising with both the sales and warehouse team
- CRM management
The successful candidate will stay abreast of customer needs and requirements to ensure that they are satisfied and encouraged to repeat business.
The Customer Service Officer will be required to explain all the benefits and uses of products including fabricated and off-the-shelf lines and enhance the sale of associated products when core products are ordered.

Skills and experience
- have at least 2 years' experience in a customer service/sales environment,
- have a background in contacting customers, following up on outstanding quotes and qualifying leads
- have a positive can do attitude with clear communication – you will be chatting with all manner of customers so it is vital you can communicate clearly and effectively
- good time management skills
- be a customer service CHAMPION
- be able to expedite customer orders to ensure DIFOT
- Experience working in the steel industry will be well regarded.
