The Opportunity 
Our client is located in the Eastern Suburbs easily accessible by public transport and paid parking available. Being an leader in its industry, they are constantly on the forefront of technology, innovation and education. A temporary opportunity with an immediate start is on offer for an individual to provide  support the Department Head and her wider team. You will need to have great time management skills as the Head of the Department will require your EA support, whilst the team will need general administration support. This opportunity is a job share position where you are required to work Thursday and Friday each week. The contract is for 1 month, however will be likely to extend until the permanent replacement is identified. 
  
The Responsibility
In providing high level administrative support, your responsibilities will be as follows. A full job description will be provided during the interview.
  • Calendar, diary and email management;
  • Agenda preparation, minute taking and action item distribution and tracking;
  • Travel coordination;
  • Preparation of presentations and marketing materials for meetings;
  • Expense management, budget monitoring and payment of invoices;
  • Managing the database
The Expertise
To be considered for this position you will be an experienced administrative professional, and have worked as either an Executive, Personal or Team Assistant. You will need to be organised, capable of managing competing priorities and be able to meet deadlines whilst working under pressure. A 'can-do' and ‘never give up’ attitude will go a long way in this role. The team culture is welcoming and friendly, and the organisation is constantly growing. The opportunity could become an ongoing contract, or become permanent for the right candidate - in which there are further perks provided with the role.
