We have an exceptional opportunity to join a highly successful business in a role where you will perform a mix of Administration Management plus perform hands on administrative tasks. Within this role you will be responsible for a team of 2 administration staff whilst ensuring the technical staff are looked after and that the office runs like clock work.
This role is suited to a passionate individual with experience in bringing a team together and putting processes in place to ensure admin practices are streamlined. Within this role you will put your hand to everything so suits someone who loves being in a hands-on role whilst being that all important go-to person at the same time.
Duties include but are not limited to:
- Oversee the administrative functions within the Queensland office
- Manage a team of 2 admin staff - help the team better support each other and the business and build a cohesive team
- Document management - typing, formatting, letters, etc
- Look after master templates for various (submission templates, finance templates, etc)
- Data entry into CRM
- Email management
- Assist with new starter inductions, etc
- Maintain various registers including for computer licenses, ensuring technical staff have relevant qualifications up to date, etc
- Facilities management
- Reporting
- Organise staff functions and client events
- Go to person for staff – the ability to problem solve and come up with solutions
- Be the liaison person between management and staff
- Variety of administration/organisational tasks
The ideal candidate will have the following skills and attributes:
- Proven professional admin management experience including experience in staff management of a small team and putting administrative processes/systems in place
- Experience working in either the building/engineering or similar industry advantageous
- Proven problem solving experience
- Strong knowledge of Word, Excel and PowerPoint and use of some form of database/CRM
- Outstanding communication skills
