This is a challenging and exciting role, which would suit someone who enjoys a high-paced working environment. The organisation has undergone significant growth in the past few years and we are seeking someone with a can-do attitude, an organised approach and the ability to work autonomously as well as with a team to assist in further expansion

This is a full-time role where you will provide support to the Managing Director and the extended management team.

Experience in business communication, external report writing and document presentation will assist in building effective relationships with key clients and meeting expansion targets. You will have autonomy and clear responsibilities, working in a friendly, collaborative environment.

Role Description:

  • Provide high level support to the Managing Director and associated staff
  • Provide research for the preparation of submissions as well as preparing presentations, reports, briefs and other documentation
  • Update and maintain internal document management systems including project-specific management systems
  • Work as a team across multiple parts of the business group, developing relationships and building strong networks both externally and internally across the organisation
  • Highly developed interpersonal skills including the ability to liaise and negotiate with a diverse range of staff and clients whilst maintaining confidentiality in all matters
  • Assist with general administration and accounts as required
  • Demonstrated written communication skills, including the ability to draft, edit and proof documentation with excellent attention to detail
  • Excellent knowledge of and demonstrated competence in the use of the Microsoft Office Suite including PowerPoint.

Key Skills & Attributes:

  • We’re looking for an individual with experience in either an EA or PA role
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills
  • The ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • A high level of attention to detail is critical for this role and the ability to multi-task
  • Strong communication skills including telephone manner and interpersonal skills and written communication
  • The ability to manage multiple conflicting priorities without loss of composure
  • Motivation to get things done quickly without forsaking accuracy
  • Demonstrated ability to be proactive and use your own initiative
  • Knowledge of accounting systems including Xero would be an advantage
