Design & Build are currently inviting applications for the role of Compliance Administration Support Officer to join a prestigious Council on a initial 3 month contract based in Melbourne's inner eastern suburbs.  

The main objective of this role is to provide administrative support to the compliance department to ensure efficient and effective outcomes for all internal & external stakeholders. This role would suit an individual with an interest in beginning a career in Local Government or with a particular interest in the community compliance space.

Key Responsibilities: 

• Deliver a diverse range of administrative functions relating to parking, litter, amenity, animal management & other regulatory functions 
• Acting as a point of contact to members of the community via. phone & email and look to achieve the best outcomes 
• Maintain records in accordance to relevant legislation 
• Prepare correspondence and ensure it is processed efficiently and consistent with legislative standards
