About Pathways Australia:

We are a boutique management consulting company that supports community service organisations. While we are based in South Melbourne (and close to public transport), we offer our services on a national scale, providing professional development seminars and other support services to not-for-profit organisations of all kinds and from the very large to the very small. We have been in business for 17 years and have an enviable reputation.

 

The role

This role is offered on a full time basis (although a four day a week arrangement is possible).

Although you will have your own responsibilities as we are a small team, a willingness to lend a hand and learn about all aspects of the business operations is important...and an attraction!

On a weekly basis you are likely to be liaising with our clients and customers, making arrangements for our seminars and other events, doing some back-end work on our websites, taking and recording payments, answering incoming calls, doing some research, preparing social media content, some soft-sales work and suggesting new ideas!

 

 About you

What will the ideal candidate be like? Well we don't have a rigid set of criteria but if you can tick a few of these boxes we'd like you to apply.

  • Friendly, accommodating, mature and flexible
  • High level MS Office skills (especially Word and Excel)
  • Understand and able to use MYOB
  • Comfortable with website back-end operations
  • Interested in social media (you will almost definitely be active on Facebook)
  • Have fantastic attention to detail
  • Stride yourself in providing quality customer service
  • You like to get things finished ...and well
  • You're appropriately assertive and show initiative
  • You have time management skills and can work autonomously

 

And most importantly....you are willing to give and take, work hard and have a bright, positive personality!
