John Holland manages the prestigious Country Regional Network (CRN) which makes us the first accredited private rail transport operator of a government owned heavy rail network in NSW, and one of only three accredited managers of public rail infrastructure in the State. The scope involves the operation, management and upgrade of country railway lines across NSW including 2,700km of operational freight and passenger lines, and 3,100km of non-operational lines.

We are currently seeking a Network Rules Coordinator to join the team based in Mayfield, NSW.  The successful candidate will be responsible for document coordination, development, amendment and publication for all Network Rules, Procedures and other Safeworking documents.

SPECIFIC ROLE/PROJECT/GROUP DESCRIPTOR

Responsibilities of the role include;

  • Maintain the Country Regional Network Safeworking rules and procedures, including issuing of amendments and Safe Notices in accordance with network standards
  • Distribute Safeworking documentation to all Safeworking staff as required
  • Responsible for ensuring the network rules are updated on the CRN website
  • Assist with maintaining the rail Safeworking rules and procedures and distribute internally, to RTO’s, and other agencies as necessary
  • Ensure current versions are maintained within the CRN IMS of all documents subject to revision and ensure current versions of documents are issued to required parties, in accordance with John Holland IMS policy and procedure
  • Participate in ANRP project and complete amendments as required to Network Rules and Procedures

To be successful in this key role, you must have;

  • High School Certificate or equivalent experience in administration
  • 3-5 years’ experience in an office environment 
  • Advanced computer skills using Adobe, Microsoft Word
  • Strong attention to detail and prioritisation skills
  • Rail and Safework experience is preferred.
