POSITION VACANT – ADMINISTRATION OFFICER – FULL TIME PERMANENT – START ASAP

ABOUT THE COMPANY:
We have more than 20 years’ experience in the local industry specialising in the maintenance and fitting of large mining and industrial equipment as well as the service and repair of light vehicles. We are continually expanding our services and constantly exploring new opportunities to meet the changing needs of the industry and our customers. We provide the highest quality workmanship and take great pride in the on-going training of our staff and commitment to work place safety.

What we need is someone to take the place of our current administration assistant who has leaving us to have a baby, so, this position will be a permanent full time role working Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm and is available for an immediate start.

The successful applicant will provide a broad range of administrative services to the company including but not limited to:

* Promptly and professionally answering telephones, directing calls and accurately taking messages.

* Promptly and accurately complete daily data entry tasks.

* General office administration duties including mail and filing and ensuring the office is clean and tidy at all times.

* Work with all other members of staff ensuring consistency of systems and processes across the company and adherence to policies and procedures.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

* Previous MYOB experience is MANDATORY (preferably at least 2 years’ experience).

* At least 2 years' relevant office administration experience.

* Previous experience in processing orders, deliveries and accounts will be highly regarded.

* Excellent communication skills.

* Sound computer skills including Word, Excel and Outlook.

* Strong attention to detail.

* Demonstrated ability to take initiative, solve problems and exercise sound judgment.

* Effective interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to develop productive working relationships with customers and fellow employees.

* High level of discretion and confidentiality.

* Punctuality.

* Be able to work autonomously
