About the business
A tree services business with customers mostly in the north eastern suburbs of Melbourne. We pride ourselves on quality and professionalism. We are owner operated with two teams out in the field. The role adveritsed will be office based working with the Director of the company and also independently. We have a relaxed but hard working environment. We are looking for the right person to form a great team for our business.
About the role
Primary duties include customer service and payroll. You will need to be computer savvy.
Main duties:
- All incoming emails
- All incoming phone calls
- Customer enquiries and problem solving
- Customer service end to end
- Booking in quotes to Job Management programme
- Taking payments
- Booking in jobs
- Sending invoices
- Communicating with bookkeeper
- Payroll
- Daily office tasks
- Approving staff holidays
- Following up on quotes that haven't gone ahead
- Maintaining a tidy and functional office including stationary
- Budgets and expenses data entry
- Banking - banking cheques and paying bills
- Record keeping
- Implementing and organising systems and procedures to ensure a productive office
- Ad hoc projects e.g. uniforms
- Miscellaneous tasks as required
- HR tasks such as updating employee contracts

Your Experience:
3-5 years experience in a similar role
XERO & EXCEL proficient
