About the business

A tree services business with customers mostly in the north eastern suburbs of Melbourne.  We pride ourselves on quality and professionalism.  We are owner operated with two teams out in the field.  The role adveritsed will be office based working with the Director of the company and also independently.  We have a relaxed but hard working environment.  We are looking for the right person to form a great team for our business.

About the role

Primary duties include customer service and payroll.  You will need to be computer savvy.

Main duties:

  1. All incoming emails
  2. All incoming phone calls
  3. Customer enquiries and problem solving
  4. Customer service end to end
  5. Booking in quotes to Job Management programme
  6. Taking payments 
  7. Booking in jobs
  8. Sending invoices
  9. Communicating with bookkeeper
  10. Payroll
  11. Daily office tasks 
  12. Approving staff holidays
  13. Following up on quotes that haven't gone ahead
  14. Maintaining a tidy and functional office including stationary 
  15. Budgets and expenses data entry
  16. Banking - banking cheques and paying bills
  17. Record keeping
  18. Implementing and organising systems and procedures to ensure a productive office
  19. Ad hoc projects e.g. uniforms
  20. Miscellaneous tasks as required 
  21. HR tasks such as updating employee contracts

Your Experience:

3-5 years experience in a similar role

XERO & EXCEL proficient
