Design & Build are currently inviting applications for the role of Administration Officer to join the Compliance, Local Laws & Health Services division of a Council based 15 km from Melbourne CBD along the shorelines of the south - east. 

Offering a contract through until October 2018 this Council is seeking a candidate that is able to hit the ground running so previous experience in a similar organisation working to & enforcing legislation is a MUST!

Key Requirements: 

• Proven experience working in a similar role with understanding of Council legislations
• Proficient in the use of systems such as; TRIM, Pathway & MS Office 
• Exceptional customer service skills with experience in handling difficult conversations
• Confidence in gaining co-operation and assistance from a range of stakeholders
• Ability and confidence to discuss and resolve basic departmental administration issues with counterparts and other council departments
