Experienced administrator required to fill a permanent, ongoing position - up to full-time.
Working at the Edenhope and District Memorial Hospital, as part of a vibrant and energetic administration team, the payroll & administration officer will be responsible for ensuring the daily administrative tasks of processing payroll and managing personnel records are undertaken with accuracy and within timelines and guidelines.

Selection Criteria:
ESSENTIAL
- Demonstrated High quality oral and written communication and interpersonal skills; and the ability to liaise with staff in a multi-disciplinary setting.
- Strong computer literacy skills and experience in the use of Microsoft Office software programs, including excellent knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
- Understanding of Privacy legislation and ability to apply principles to everyday work.
- Ability to work under pressure with conflicting priorities and meet strict deadlines whilst maintaining attention to detail
- Demonstrated ability to plan, organise and prioritise work, and work within designated timeframes and deadlines.
- Ability to work autonomously as well as in a team environment
- Previous experience in a similar role
DESIRABLE

Formal qualifications in finance, business administration or other relevant field

Edenhope and District Memorial Hospital (EDMH) is a 60 bed rural hospital ranging from acute, urgent care, to residential aged care.
We are located in the Shire of West Wimmera region of Western Victoria, close to the South Australian border.
Position is subject to a satisfactory police check and working with children check.
