The Northern Connector is part of the Australian Government’s plan to complete the full North-South Corridor over the next decade. The project involves the construction of a new 15.5 kilometre road linking the Northern Expressway to the northern end of the South Road Superway.  It will be constructed as a six lane motorway standard road to the west of Port Wakefield Road, with four road interchanges and a 16 kilometre shared path for pedestrians and cyclists.

To support the delivery of this project we are seeking an experienced Receptionist who has a demonstrated background working on major infrastructure projects ideally within a similar tier contractor.

Your duties will include:

  • Provide front office reception services, including signing in visitors
  • Answer, screen and forward incoming phone calls
  • Ensure reception area is tidy and presentable
  • Order front office supplies and keep inventory of stock
  • Update calendars and schedule meetings
  • Draft, review and proofread office documents
  • Assist in making meeting room reservations, catering arrangements and travel bookings
  • Perform other clerical receptionist duties such as filing, photocopying, transcribing and faxing
  • Provide administrative support as required

To be successful in this role, you will have the following:

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar role
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work autonomously in a fast paced environment with competing challenges
