PoultryHub Australia
- Fixed-term to 23 April 2022, 30h/week
- $ 65,357 to $ 75,366 part time pro rata per annum (Level 5)
- Plus 17% employer superannuation. Salary packaging options are available.

PoultryHub Australia (PHA) is a poultry industry research centre located at the University of New England (UNE). While PHA is part of UNE, it operates as a semi-autonomous body. Poultry Hub Australia main objectives are to provide leadership in coordinating collaborative projects essential to the Australian poultry industry’s long-term sustainability and deliver practical solutions in a nimble and timely manner. Poultry Hub Australia focuses on applied poultry research, education, extension and training programs in close collaboration with industry.
About the role
The Executive Officer position provides high level administrative support and advice to the PoultryHub Director and is the first point of contact for PoultryHub Australia. In this role you will be required to liaise with senior University managers across the range of duties, and with external organisations particularly in relation to the partners of PoultryHub Australia and contribute to the achievement of successful outcomes of projects and initiatives.
This position reports to the Director of PoultryHub Australia and operates under his/her general direction.
Skills & Experience
PoultryHub Australia is seeking an enthusiastic individual with excellent organisational, problem solving and communication skills, discretion and tact, and ability to interpret and apply complex rules, procedures and policies. The successful candidate should have: demonstrated experience providing support to executive level persons, ability to exercise independence, initiative and judgement and excellent computer literacy skills. The successful candidate will also have experience in processing financial transactions, research, analyse and interpret data.
