We are seeking to appoint a Training Administrator to join the People & Business Improvement Team, based in Mount Waverley.
Reporting to the Learning & Development Team Leader, your responsibilities will include:
• Administering the Learning Management System (LMS);
• Keeping training records up to date;
• Communicating with external training providers to ensure accurate training reports are delivered on time;
• Delivering regular training update reports to management;
• Ensure Metricon’s Registered Training Organisation (RTO) remains compliant in all aspects of its operations;
• Data entry of student information into JobReady Student Management System (SMS);
• Generating and issuing course certificates;
• Communicating with staff, students and customers;
• Identifying errors with course paperwork, RTO compliance requirements and following through with corrections;
• Scanning and filing of trainer course ware; and
• Quality assurance checks of student completed course ware;

The successful candidate will have:
• Strong administrative / reporting skills
• High standards of personal organisation and attention to detail;
• TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment;
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in the VET sector;
• Displayed understanding of AQTF standards and ASQA reporting periods;
• Competence in the Microsoft suite of products and intermediate to advanced computer skills;
• Previous exposure to RTO databases and student management systems such as JobReady;
• Prior experience participating in auditing activities (both ASQA and internal);
• Displayed RTO compliance capabilities (with a proven track record); and
• Highly developed interpersonal & communication skills (both verbal and written).
