An exciting opportunity has opened up to join the industry leading retirement organisation, Aveo. This opportunity is within the Home Care Communities team as our Regional Operations Support Officer in Melbourne.

 

About the role:

 

Reporting to the Regional Manager, the Regional Operations Support Officer is required to provide high-level confidential administrative and organisational support to the Home Care Communities in their region. This includes recruitment administration, coordinate payroll queries, systems administration, OH&S audits and general administrative support.

 

The successful candidate will troubleshoot, problem-solve and consistently seek out improvements to administrative systems within the Home Care Communities.

 

This role is central to the development and building of a positive culture in their areas of responsibility characterised by resident-focus, safety, quality, efficiency and positive performance.

 

Minimum role requirement:

To be successful in this role you will have:

 

  • Advanced administration skills
  • Five years or more in a senior administration position
  • Event Management skills and/or education
  • Extensive experience working with Microsoft Office programs
  • Demonstrated experience in a similar role, supporting a number of senior executives
  • Senior office administration experience
  • Event coordination experience
  • Experience in meeting preparation and minute taking
  • Understanding of accounts payable and receivable processes
  • Accounts reconciliation experience
  • Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders
  • Experience supporting a number of people or committees
  • Advanced computer literacy and knowledge of Microsoft suite
  • Superior written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work autonomously
  • Ability to use discretion in decision making and prioritise work schedules
  • Ability to adapt quickly to change and be flexible
  • Current Australian Drivers Licence
