Your Opportunity
 

We have an exciting opportunity for you to join the Cargill Malt Australia team as a Plant Systems & Process Coordinator. Reporting into the Plant Manager, you will be based at Port Adelaide in South Australia and be an integral member of the plant team, responsible for supporting the Plant leadership team (maintenance, production, plant manager) in running the plant operations in line with our EHS, quality, food safety systems and maintenance systems. The role involves a mix of coordination activities and administration activities with the aim to have the plant operate in compliance with all the internal and external requirements. Plant Systems & Process Coordinator exposes the individual to a broad scope of activities at plant level and helps the team to effectively use and maintain the systems. The role is also expected to work on continuous improvement activities that improves work processes at site level.

You will be a self-starter, agile and a resilient team player to be able to problem solve and thrive in a fast paced working environment. Your ability to grasp a broad range of activities, be quick on the uptake, confident with using systems, pay attention to detail while adhering to processes and procedures and work collaboratively in a team environment to drive efficiencies will be key to the success of the role.  

 
 
Responsibilities
 

Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

 
  • Apply basic knowledge of department operations and infrastructure, policies and procedures to perform moderately complex processes.
  • Coordination to make sure our processes from environment, health, safety, efficiency, asset  health, GMP, ISO, housekeeping and pest control are being executed and at all time being ready for an audit internal and external audit;
  • Maintaining SOP’s and FSQR manual for the site in close collaboration with the production manager;
  • Supporting the production manager in the customer complaint handling process;
  • Organising sample sending to Tech Centre or customers;
  • Acting as the first line of contact for centralized supply chain team;
  • Supporting the maintenance of our CMMS system by coordinating data entry;
  • Facilitating continuous improvement and taking an active role in transition into a centralized purchasing model through CSSP;
  • General administration duties as required;
Experience and skills
 
All about you
 

Coming from an administrative / operations support background, you will have:

 

  • Bachelors or advanced degree or Secretary Certification;
  • Experience in operational support roles;
  • Experience in working with management systems;
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and organisational skills;
  • Ability to work independently, be self-motivated and proactive;
  • Contribute in a team environment through developing positive working relationships that are based on trust and integrity;
  • Ability to work in a high pressure environment and proactively manage stakeholders and conflicting priorities;
  • Have a continuous improvement mindset;
  • Ability to prioritise tasks, use knowledge and initiative to problem solve promptly;
  • High emotional intelligence and ability to connect with people in various levels of the organization;
