We’re seeking a multi-talented, exceptionally well organised and experienced office co-ordinator who enjoys working on multiple tasks and thrives on being a key support for the operation.
Based in Fortitude Valley, Jensen Bowers is a well-established industry leader in surveying, development advisory and geospatial technology. We offer a dynamic, friendly office environment with scope to be part of a business that is going places.
The Role
Combining both your proven accounts skills and well honed administration skills, you will be a central point for the business. Ideally you will have oodles of initiative, be a positive member of the team, and thrive on co-ordinating office tasks.
You will be responsible for:
General office support and administration:
- Reception and office
- Meeting and greeting clients and stakeholders
- Preparing travel arrangements
- Diary management
- Preparation of Board / Management papers & meetings coordination
- Support of field staff and office team
- Some PA duties to directors
- Managing monthly staff meetings
- Staff reward and recognition - manage monthly programme
- Assist with organizing company events
- Maintenance of various business data bases
Bookkeeping duties:
- Sales invoicing and accounts payable entry
- Management of debtors and creditors receipts and payments
- Bank and other reconciliations
- Payroll experience desirable
- Assisting company accountant
Prerequisite Skills and Experience
- Proficient in the use of MS Office
- Working experience with Xero software (desirable)
- Bookkeeping experience
- Highly organised and a motivated self-starter
- High attention to detail and the ability to work unsupervised
- A team player that enjoys new challenges
- Ability to flex their operating style to suit varying situations typical of a dynamic business environment
