About the Role:
An exciting opportunity for an Administration & Operations Officer has become available to join our team at Longreach Airport.
Reporting directly to the Airport Manager; the Administration & Operations Officer will provide support to the Airport Manager in achieving Longreach Airport’s objectives. This primary role is in addition to the duties as a relief Aerodrome Reporting Officer (ARO) which forms part of the Administration & Operations Officer role.
Key requirements:
- General administrative duties
- Purchase orders
- Reconciliation of credit card statements and petty cash liquidation/ reimbursement on a monthly basis
- Filing and retrieval of documentation
- Maintaining and amending compliance manuals, procedures, policies and any other relevant documentation
- Ensure Longreach Airport Pty Ltd maintains a good first impression by way of the environment, presentation and friendly atmosphere
- Assisting with regular airport audits and inspections
- Ensure operational compliance in regard to safety, security and regulations
- Develop and maintain strong working relationships with Aviation Industry and Government agencies
- Perform the role of Aerodrome Reporting Officer relief when required
- Identify and attend to customer requirements in an effective and timely manner
What you will bring to QAL:
To be successful in this role you will ideally have experience in the aviation industry, knowledge of ASIC’s applications and procedures for processing, knowledge of Aviation specific policies and experience in office administration. You will have exceptional internal and external customer service skills, strong organisational, time task and priority management skills and have excellent personal presentation. You will enjoy contributing as part of a team and have a ‘can do’ attitude.
