Our client is seeking an experienced Customer Service Officer to join their team. The role will provide service and sales support to all customers and will ensure all processes are followed as directed by the business to meet all customer requirements.
The key responsibilities of this position include:
- Liaise directly with customers either by telephone, electronically or face to face ;
- Respond promptly to customer enquiries;
- Enter orders accurately and within timeframes to meet all deadlines as required;
- Raise purchase orders from suppliers;
- Manage priorities, plan work-load appropriately and maintain high levels of attention to detail and accuracy;
- Manage customer databases;
- Make outbound calls and identify sales opportunities;
- Supporting the sales team; assisting with the preparation of quotes;
- Meet sales targets and KPI’s;
- Accounts receivable;
- Tracking freight movements and managing any logistical requirements;
- Manage and resolve customer complaints in accordance with the company’s guidelines and policies within given timeframes;
- Adhere to all OH&S policies and procedures.
You will be required to have the following skills and experience:
- Minimum 5 year’s customer service experience;
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills;
- Excellent attention to detail;
- Well developed problem solving skills and ability to work under pressure;
- Intermediate MS Word and Excel skills.
