Unitex International is the leading importer and distributor of floor rugs in Australia. Our fast growing family business has a fantastic opportunity to welcome an addition to our team to fill a Customer Service role. We are a close knit team, and are looking for a hardworking, fun and motivated person to join us and stay long term.

Our comprehensive client base includes leading retailers, decorators, designers and the top e-commerce sites in Australia. Ideally you will have excellent customer service skills and an interest in interiors.

Your accountabilities will include -

Dealing with customers over the phone, via web enquiries and occasionally face to face.

Handling customer queries and complaints, and using your problem solving skills to rectify issues in a timely and professional manner.

  • Tracking freight through our various courier companies via web and over the phone. 
  • Taking, entering and following up orders from for customers.
  • Data entry, completing return record, and managing your own system for handling customer queries.
  • Maintaining your own customer base
  • Managing filing

 

You will possess the following qualities -

 

  • 2-3 years customer service skills as a minimum
  • Proficient written and spoke English
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail and a willingness to learn.
  • Motivated, self-starter with the ability to identify areas for improvement and work independently.
  • Must be able to sustain a busy work environment which is fast paced, demanding yet fulfilling.
  • Impeccable, professional phone manner and presentation.
  • Team player with emphasis on fostering team environment.
  • Proficient with Microsoft suite, with an emphasis on excel.
  • Experience working with e-commerce desirable
