Continuing from a number of recent major project wins across the country our Engineering business has just been awarded the design and construction contract to deliver both Stage 1 and Stage 2 of Adelaide's Gawler Rail Electrification Project.

The electrification of the Gawler Rail Line will deliver faster, safer and more reliable rail services for the northern suburbs which will encourage more people to leave the car at home and take public transport.

To support the delivery of the project, we are seeking a Site Administrator. Ideally you will have a familiarity with construction and engineering projects and enjoy site based roles although this is not critical as we will train the right people.

As Site Administrator you will be an integral part of our site team and be responsible for, handling written and electronic correspondence and day to day communications. You will also undertake general administration work for the project team including typing of letters and contracts, document control and filing and management of office equipment and supplies.

To be successful in this role, you will have the following:

  • Proven experience working in project teams and delivering projects within the construction and/or rail industry;
  • Competent user of MS Office Suite eg. Word, Excel and PowerPoint;
  • Advanced typing skills;
  • Well-developed skills in writing technical documentation/reports;
  • Be able to operate autonomously with the initiative to avert problems before they arise;
  • Excellent communication skills including strong written, negotiation and influencing skills.
