About the role

Laing O'Rourke / Select Plant Hire is currently recruiting for a Plant Administrator to join an exciting rail project in Melbourne and upcoming Depot. The successful candidate will be an experienced Administrator who is highly self-motivated and results orientated. They will enjoy being organised and working in a busy environment whilst having a flexible can do attitude to whatever task is thrown at them.

 

Key responsibilities

The key responsibilities of this role are to provide administrative support to the project team. This will include, managing the plant maintenance administration alongside the depot manager, general secretarial and office support, create and prepare reports, presentations etc., placing supply, consultant and subcontract orders, invoice management, assisting with a range of accounting and payroll activities as well as arranging and attending meetings, conferences, taking and distributing minutes.

 

You will have

Previous experience working in site or office administration and / or procurement and payroll. The successful candidate must also possess intermediate to advanced MS Office package skills, particularly Outlook and Excel.

 

Desirable

Experience using COINS financial systems and MEX Maintenance Software will be regarded highly desirable.
