About the Walter & Eliza Hall Institute

About the position
An exciting opportunity exists for a Team Administrator to join Melbourne Genomics Health Alliance. This position will provide high level administrative and coordination support across different workstreams such as: Evaluation, Diagnostic Innovation & Adoption, Workforce Development, and the National and International Relevance workstreams.

Responsibilities and Selection Criteria
The successful candidate will be required to organise day-to-day activities and provide secretarial/administrative support to the team. This will require a demonstrated ability to time manage and communicate effectively, project planning and execution capabilities, and a high attention to detail.

To be considered for this position, the successful candidate will have personal or executive assistant experience, reporting to senior executives. Advanced computer literacy and capabilities in MS suite, internet browsers, Adobe Acrobat and Photoshop will be essential to perform well within this role.

Terms of appointment
The position is available as a part time position (0.6 FTE) for a period of 12 months in the first instance. Up to 17% superannuation and very attractive salary packaging options are available.
