We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced receptionist looking for a part time opportunity within a government department. In this role you will be the face of the department and expected to approach your role in a professional and friendly manner. This role is located in the heart of Canberra and is looking for someone who is able to commit to a Mon- Fri roster.

Duties include:

• Answering calls and passing on messages to the relevant person
• Meeting and greeting clients in a courteous, professional and friendly manner
• Scheduling boardroom and other meeting rooms as required
• Keeping the reception area presentable at all times
• Issuing visitor and security passes as required
• Booking in car park for visitors as needed

To be successful for the role:

• Minimum of 2 years experience in a reception role
• Must be reliable and able to commit to set roster across a 5 day week
• Provide exceptional customer service skills
• Willingness to learn and adapt to a changing environment
